Good afternoon,
On October 27 at 6:30, the Pittsfield School Board will be making a
presentation to the community detailing the efforts to satisfy the
warrant article approved by the voters in 2020. The information below
includes:
Community discussion that will be given on
the 27th that describes the history of the efforts that have taken
place.
Budget Comparison– using the 2022-23 approved budget as a base line,
what the budget would look like if high school students were tuitioned
out with the options of closing the elementary school and leaving it
open.
Harriman presentation– the presentation from Harriman Team Design, a
firm that was hired by the Board, to determine the feasibility of
fitting the elementary school program into the middle-high school
building.
Executive Summary for 2021 Tuition study– document shared with the
community in the spring of 2021.
Estimates on renovation and new construction cost- document from
Harriman Team Design on estimates to renovate and or create new
construction if elementary moved into the middle/high school building.
Tuition Study– document that shows costs to tuition students to
surrounding school districts
The meeting will take place in the library media center at PMHS.
